PhysioGo 501I

Benefits for the therapist

Safe physical therapy

Thanks to the Autotest procedure, which enables a continuous test of the operating status every time the applicators are switched on, the device becomes a safe instrument in the hands of the physiotherapist. Once the Autotest has been completed, the display shows that the connected applicators are ready for operation.

A radiation power test function for laser applicators is available in the devices. The operator can also perform a self-test of the electrodes used in electrotherapy. The PhysioGo 501I complies with the requirements of the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR).

The device operates with two independent treatment channels. It allows to perform treatments on a different part of the body simultaneously.

Many methods of treatment

Usually, to achieve the desired therapeutic effects, it is necessary to use several physical therapy methods that complement each other. The PhysioGo 501I device allows you to perform three types of treatments: low level laser therapy, electrotherapy and magnetotherapy. Two independent treatment channels enable simultaneous performance of two different therapeutic procedures. In the field of electrotherapy, PhysioGo 501I offers the availability of all common currents, i.e. TENS currents, Kotz currents, tonolysis, microcurrents, currents dedicated to spastic paralysis therapy, diadynamic, galvanic and other currents. In addition, the device has the ability to measure the I/t curve.

Laser therapy offers vast therapeutic possibilities for the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, and the optional optical fibre applicators expand the range of treatments available. Importantly, the device works with all laser radiation applicators available in the ASTAR range (i.e.: spot probes, shower applicator and scanning applicator). The maximum power available to the user when using the shower applicator is as much as 1800 mW available from five infrared and four red light laser diodes.

Magnetotherapy perfectly complements electrotherapy and laser therapy offered by PhysioGo 501I – increasing the effectiveness of treatment in the case of fresh fractures, edema or sports injuries. The use of CPE plate applicators equipped with dedicated fastening straps gives the possibility of applying magnetotherapy treatment anywhere in the patient’s body. The maximum magnetic field strength is 10 mT.

Benefits for the physiotherapist

Predefined treatment programs

Like most ASTAR devices, the unit has been equipped with a modern treatment encyclopedia. It contains a description and illustration of the methodology of performing procedures for all disease entities. The user has 285 built-in treatment programs at his disposal. The units have a 7-inch color display with a touch panel, which makes encyclopedia operation easy and convenient. The physiotherapists can use 38 saved electrotherapy treatment sequences or create 10 of their own.

Treatment sequences are a combination of several types of therapeutic currents into one treatment sequence. The devices also allow you to use the functions of favourite programs, 8 predefined Nogier’s acupuncture programs, 30 Voll’s acupuncture programs for laser therapy and saving up to 300 user-defined programs.

Ease of transport

This relatively small device (only 6 kg) is an ideal work tool for physiotherapists who perform treatment procedures in many medical facilities. Specially adapted comfortable transport bag holds a device and accessories compatible with it. PhysioGo 501I version is equipped with a battery that allows up to 5,5 hours of device operation without the necessity to connect it to a power source.

High quality

ASTAR devices have enjoyed recognition among specialists for years. In addition to the elegant design and high quality of the components used, devices from the PhysioGo family are primarily characterized by reliability and ergonomics of the solutions used.

Biostimulation
laser therapy

In order to fully understand the effect of the laser biostimulation on tissues, special attention should be paid to the word “biostimulation”.

Electrotherapy

The beginnings of electrotherapy go back to the eighteenth century. Its precursor was prof. Luigi Galvani. Due to the fact that electrotherapy is such a mature method of physical therapy, it is well tested, which is confirmed by numerous scientific studies. This makes electrotherapy a very useful healing tool.
