PhysioGo 301A

Benefits for the patient

A wide range of treatments

In terms of electrotherapy, ultrasound therapy and combination therapy, the PhysioGo 301A offers a wide range of therapeutic options. The device allows for electrotherapy procedures using uni and bipolar currents such as microcurrents, Kotz currents, TENS currents, currents for spastic paralysis, diadynamic currents, impulse currents (rectangular pulses, triangular pulses, Trabert current), tonolysis, galvanic currents and others.

In terms of ultrasound therapy, the device generates ultrasound waves with a frequency of 1 MHz, which allows the treatment of deeply located lesions and 3.5 MHz, allowing the treatment of conditions located shallowly under the surface of the skin.

Another advantage of the device is the ability to perform combination therapy. It is a combination of therapeutic effects of electrotherapy and ultrasound. During the combination therapy, both therapies work on the patient’s body simultaneously. This method is very popular among therapists worldwide.

Safe physical therapy

The self-test procedure, which has been implemented in PhysioGo 301A enables current monitoring of the device’s functional status each time it is turned on. In the case of ultrasound therapy, the device constantly monitors the contact quality of the ultrasound head with the patient’s body during the procedure. The user can be sure of reliable and effective dosing of the ultrasound waves on the area being treated. PhysioGo 301A also gives the opportunity to check the consumption degree of the electrodes used in electrotherapy treatments.

Electrodiagnostics

The devices provide the user with the possibility to conduct semi-automatic electrodiagnostics of the neuromuscular system – I/t curve. This is the starting point to begin targeted electrostimulation to improve the fitness of the muscle undergoing therapy. After completing the procedure the device will automatically display the rheobase and chronaxia values. However, the value of the accommodation factor together with the value of the accommodation quotient will be automatically presented in a graphic form to the therapist on a legible 7” display together with a comment and visual assessment presented on a specially created scale.

Built-in treatment programs

The device user can choose to work in manual or program mode. The manual mode gives the opportunity to determine the treatment parameters independently, and its use is recommended for advanced users. PhysioGo 300A devices are equipped with a database of 204 built-in treatment programs combined with an encyclopaedia describing and illustrating the methodology of performing treatment procedures. Additionally, the user can create a handy list of favorite treatments based on available built-in programs. The modern approach to electrotherapy treatments has been emphasized by 38 built-in treatment sequences. It is a combination of several types of current in one treatment procedure. The memory of the devices allows the user to save 150 own treatment programs and 10 user-defined sequences. The devices are equipped with three independent treatment channels. This allows the patient to be treated on multiple areas of the body at the same time.

Comfort of transport

PhysioGo 301A allows to perform advanced physical treatments procedures in between multiple the therapy centers. The device owes its easy transport to small dimensions and a specially designed bag that allows safe transfer for the unit along with its equipment. In addition, especially for physiotherapists conducting treatments in home healthcare environment, the ASTAR has created the PhysioGo 301A device version with a battery. PhysioGo devices with its own battery can work up to 5,5 hours without the need of recharging the device.

Electrotherapy

The beginnings of electrotherapy go back to the eighteenth century. Its precursor was prof. Luigi Galvani. Due to the fact that electrotherapy is such a mature method of physical therapy, it is well tested, which is confirmed by numerous scientific studies. This makes electrotherapy a very useful healing tool.
