PhysioGo 701I

PhysioGo 701I is the most technologically advanced device from the ASTAR PhysioGo family.

This multifunctional model was created to enable users to perform a wide range of physiotherapeutic procedures both in physiotherapy centers and in home healthcare environmental therapy.

Electrodiagnostics

An important feature of the device is the ability to perform full electrodiagnostics and assess the analysis of nerve and muscle excitability. In order to choose the most suitable method of therapy and rehabilitation, a specialist can check the tissue response to a stimulus (rheobase) and automatically use the device to calculate the measure of muscle excitability (chronaxia). The device performs the necessary calculations, also calculating the accommodation coefficient and the ratio, which allows to determine the medical disease sign.

Home healthcare environmental therapy

The device enables therapy in the patient’s home. Although the device combines the features of several units, its maximum weight is only 6 kg. The convenient ASTAR carrying bag is designed to fit both the unit and its equipment. In addition, the device is equipped as standard with a capacious battery, which allows up to 4 hours of operation also when it is not possible to connect the unit to a power source.

The main feature of PhysioGo 701I is the maximally developed therapy offer. After detailed electrodiagnostics, the patient has the opportunity to precisely select the treatment method to suit his/ her needs. An alternate use of individual methods of physical therapy brings quick pain relief and increases its effectiveness. PhysioGo 701I enables electrotherapy and laser therapy treatment which stimulate tissues, bringing quick pain relief to patients suffering from musculoskeletal disorders. In addition, by combination of electrotherapy with ultrasound therapy, we obtain the possibility of conducting combined therapy treatments, which allows greater effectiveness of physiotherapy treatments. Magnetotherapy, on the other hand, supports regenerative processes, healing and accelerates recovery.

Technology

ASTAR engineers have created a fully ergonomic device that offers comfortable work and simplified operation. The exclusive PhysioGo 701I unit meets the requirements of the Medical Device Directive. In addition, it has been equipped with a database of 382 built-in treatment programs, 38 predefined treatment sequences for electrotherapy, 30 Voll’s acupuncture programs and 8 Nogier’s acupuncture programs. The device also allows to create and save up to 400 user-defined programs and to create a quick list of favourite programs and 10 customiezed sequences for electrotherapy. The users can easily change the names of their own programs and sequences, and decide to work in manual mode, adjusting the treatment parameters themselves.

PhysioGo 701I unit was built from the highest quality components.
Comfortable operation of the device is provided by a 7-inch colour display with a touch panel. The device has three independent treatment channels protected by full galvanic isolation, which eliminates interference during simultaneous operation in various modes. In addition, PhysioGo 701I has a built-in, rich encyclopaedia with description and methodology for performing individual treatments. Disease entities can be selected by medical field, which includes a given disease.
